NRA-ILA has a video up on YouTube documenting the abusive police gun confiscation scheme in post-Katrina New Orleans. Legally owned firearms were taken from citizens in the name of “public safety” while liberal actor Sean Penn wandered around New Orleans with an illegally procured shotgun, and many of the law abiding citizens still have not received their property back. Property that in many cases brings a pretty penny in pawn shops or on the black market.

The N.O.P.D. needs to explain where all these guns are, why they can’t be given back to their original law abiding owners. Then maybe they can explain why Sean Penn was allowed to run through New Orleans armed, but the average Joe wasn’t.
