Meet Peter J. Kearney-Stanley, a 24 year old child rapist who, after a 2004 conviction, found himself living with a single mother and her two small children. You know how this story ends:
Peter J. Kearney-Stanley, 24, of 1 Carmen Park Drive is being held on $5,000 cash bail in the Plymouth House of Correction after a Tuesday arraignment. He will return to Wareham District Court next month to answer to the charge of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14.
The charge originated in Wareham, where Stanley was living with his ex-girlfriend. According to court records, the Department of Social Services was investigating the mother for neglecting the 8-year-old and her 6-year-old brother.
During a home visit in February, the 8-year-old said Stanley “touched me in the wrong spot.†The girl said she was sleeping and woke to him touching her.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s office was notified of the allegations, Wareham police were brought in and the investigation was launched. A DSS spokesperson said the children remain with their mother in Wareham because Stanley is out of the home and no longer a threat.
“It doesn’t appear (DSS) dropped the ball,†said Wareham Lt. Irving Wallace.
Really? DSS was investigating a woman for neglect who was living with a sex offender and they decide she’s a good enough mother to keep her kids? That’s not dropping the ball?
And $5000 bail!?! This is one of the most disgusting stories I’ve ever heard, and of course it’s from liberal haven Massachusetts. Lost in Lima, Ohio sums up my thoughts:
I know, you’re thinking FIVE grand? And yes, sadly that is the correct amount, but don’t get to upset yet- because it gets worse. Seems that he has a previous conviction for… hold your breath… rape of child conviction. He’s a level 2 offender. Staring at his second offense. And his bond is $5,000. Wonder how soon he’ll be walking out the streets this time.
Indeed. What is it about Massachusetts that makes them not take sex offenders seriously? This man needs to be locked up.
This man is a threat to society and is dangerous to the public and is dating my x girlfriend and he has threatened my life.
This man even sent me sex pictures of him and my x who i have a two year old with what should i do im mentally disturbed from this?

Peter Kearney is disgusting. He raped me in October 2009. Since there is no evidence, I cannot pursue any kind of trial. I trusted him because he used to date a girl that I knew and trusted. He stole my virginity and I want him locked up FOREVER.
HL – If someone raped you you can press charges. You need to go to the police.
Rob Taylor: I did file a report a few days after it happend. There was no evidence, so it’d be hard to pursue a criminal trial. I’m pretty sure that he drugged me, but I didn’t get a drug test at the time.
It’s hard to prove what happend. It would be my word against his. I don’t feel like going through all of the pain and a trial if I’m not positive I can win.

Does he really live in archer ct????? The families there need to find a way to have him removed, there are tons of kids, thats not right. Start a petition or do whatever needs to be done to drive him outta there
Then he’ll just disappear and molest more children. The best thing to do is be aware of him and watch him. He’ll break the law eventually, then report him.
Is it even legal for him to be living directly across the street from an elementary school? I don’t understand…..
