Allah thinks so, I’m leaning the other way. When a truther who has a habit of surprising politicians with conspiracy related nonsense, you can plainly see that Edwards waits to see what the crowd thinks, then directs the kid to “the guy in the blue shirt” to get his information. I’ve no doubt that in doing so Blue Shirt made it clear to the truther that more than a building can fall on someone who might embarrass the boss.
Say what you want about Edwards, but if you think he’s above having a truther or two roughed up if they get out of line you’re dreaming. These are the Democrats were talking about.
I’m with AllahPundit on this point though the applause at the end is disturbing, implying that Edwards basically got lured into a room full of anti-government wackos. I don’t blame him for not throwing down with a truther in a room full of them, but who’s running the Edwards campaign’s security that he ends up in that situation in the first place?
