According to the news, Matthew J. Murray was once kicked out of a faith based program. After several years he suddenly began sending program members hate mail and death threats, then yesterday went on a rampage that left two people dead and shocked a nation.
It’s been widely reported that he hated Christians.
Where would a young man in his twenties be exposed to anti-Christian propaganda.
Where would a man, presuming he isn’t a member of the Religion of Peace, learn to loath Christianity so much that he’d attempt a commando style assault on a mega church?
I’m not a Christian, but I respect Christians and there right to worship. Aside from some theological disagreement I’m not so worried about modern Christians. I rarely think about them at all actually. But what kind of person hates Christians?
What sort of American sees them as the enemy?
What sort of American thinks they should be killed? That they’re less worthwhile as people than anyone else?
Even Anton LaVey respected Christians right to worship their god. Only the “Satanists” from Northern Europe, a collection of murderers and Nazis, were more hateful of Christians than the American left is today. The hate of Norway’s Satanists is well documented and created a decade long nightmare of horror for Christians in Europe.
The American left’s has not yet been fully explored and documented. But it’s there and it’s ready for exposure.
When it is, the case of Matthew J. Murray will likely be one of it’s most revealing chapters.
