Rob Taylor,
This is a scary video. If everything it is saying is correct, it is pretty scary. Its also pretty upsetting.
It’s true but interpreted through a Libertarian lens. Very pretentious, but the inflation stuff is right on.
Rob Taylor,
How is it interpreted through a libertarian lens?
The idea that markets (for gold and silver0 will defeat the government for example. Twice in our history the government confiscated gold so the idea that only the “sheeple” will starve as the mighty free market cleanses the world is bogus, gold hoarders will probably get their gold taken from them in an emergency, and even if they don’t whose going to take gold for anything?
Libertarian fantasy – that a small commune of Paulnuts will live together buying stuff with gold coins they make themselves.
Rob Taylor,
That’s a good point, even if the government, or someone else didn’t steel the gold, there’s no guarantee that other people would accept the gold, in place of us currency. For one thing, its much harder to tell what a chunk of gold, is actually worth. It doesn’t have its worth written on it, like a dollar bill.
