Women Activists Sending Lipstick to Obama in Protest

The media is trying to gloss over Obama’s lipstick coment, but anyone who watched his performance knows that even if Obama didn’t mean the comment as an attack on Governor Palin, the sneering mass of elitists in his audience certainly assumed it did. I don’t buy the innocent act and neither does Tena, a McCain supporter who contacted me a couple of days ago to tell me about her campaign to force an apology out of Obama and his Democrat cronies.

Read My Lipstick Campaign!

Put “Voting for McCain/Palin 08” on a tube of lipstick! Attach a note that
says, “Obama, you are right, Words DO Matter!! Read My Lipstick, you do NOT
have my vote!!”

SEND IT TO:

Please Help Spread The Word … Let’s Do This!!

Thanks, Tena

Sounds good to me. I already sent mine. I mean I would have sent mine if I had some sort of costume closet complete with professional greasepaint and makeup. But I don’t.

Anyway if you did have some lipstick this sounds like fun. There’s a website where you can learn more.

  1. Personally, I don’t buy into any attacks at this stage.

As for the lipstick remark, McCain said the same thing about Obama’s policies several weeks ago. It’s an adage. One that is commonly used.

Then Palin says what she did about Hockey moms and pit bulls. Now, when Obama makes the remark, he’s seen as sexist and everyone jumps on him as having had attacked Palin. Was McCain, then, attacking Obama’s wife when he said it?

If I were a conspiracy theorist (which I’m not), I would think it was a set up. Look how quickly the McCain supporters/camp jumped on the remark. As if they were waiting for it. It wasn’t even in a National debate or speech, but rather at a campaign trail speech at one stop. No one in any other part of the country or world would have known about it so quickly if not for someone or some group waiting to publicize that one comment.

Again, I’m not a conspiracy theorist and I strongly feel we’re screwed no matter who wins. My point is to those who jumped all over this: Get over it! It was just a cliche! Stop being a pawn (and so sensitive)!

  2. Yeah, but I remember when I saw the video it was clear that Obama’s supporters made the connection. There are some Palin as pig photoshops going around to, like on Perez Hilton’s site.

My objection is because growing up in the 70s and 80s “Pig” was short hand for dirty whore. It’s one of those terms used by guys who you wouldn’t let be alone with your daughter and I think the person who wrote it (which isn’t Obama) knew that he was going to be tapping into the same misogyny that Clinton ran into.

Look, Barry’s a big boy who should know you don’t talk about a woman indirectly while making a pig reference. If my wife was running for something and someone was talking about her and smirked while he said “you can dress up a pig…” there’d be violence.

But ultimately this is the same gotcha game Team Barry has been using to call Ferraro a racist, Bill Clinton a racist, McCain a racist, etc. Now they can see how they like the taste of it. And unlike when the Dems were calling everyone a racist this is kind of funny.

  3. “Barry” LOL!!! That still has me laughing.

I, myself, cringed when I heard about the statement. I just take everything during the election crunch with a grain of salt. And again, we’re screwed no matter who wins. My sister, a McCain/Palin supporter, said the other day that whomever doesn’t vote will have only themselves to blame when the wrong person gets into office. I told her, “Yeah, but since that means either one, I don’t want to be responsible by voting, either!”

I tried to take sides. I really did. When it was clear it was a choice of the lesser of two evils, I called it quits. This will be the first year I don’t vote because I refuse to have any part in this. We’ll either be warmongers or bowing to Sharia law. I may be wrong but it’s just how I feel.

  4. I have to admit I’m more of a Palin ’12 supporter than a McCain supporter, but I have always respected the man and I think he’s running such a brilliant campaign, just in terms of baiting team O into playing on his terms makes me think four years of him dealing with Russia and militant Islam won’t be so bad.

I went from Thompson, to Romney to McCain. My problem with the Dems is that as a small business owner they’re claiming me and the wife are rich enough to pay “our fair share” even though we’re struggling to get in the black. We’ll be out of business before we could even get started.

Also the Dems not supporting Columbia against the Narco-terror group Farc, the Fairness Doctrine which if applied to the ‘net would put Red Alerts out of business and the fact that they’re not serious about Jessica’s Law, Jamiel’s Law or homeland security in general made me feel like supporting McCain was the thing to do.
