Michelle Malkin reports that 30,000 Patriots attended the Gathering of Eagles counter protest yesterday dwarfing the turnout of the “peace” activists who went on a rampage in the capital. Numbers for the Anti-War demonstrators seem to be hovering between one to four thousand depending on the source, although the MSM is reporting much higher turnout. Age of Hooper has a nice video of part of the rally, and Gates of Vienna captures the spirit of the day nicely.

I missed this one, but seeing proactive patriotism like this is inspiring enough that I think I might go to the upcoming UAC rally at Ground zero. There will be rallies against Islamic Radicalism in other cites as well, so you can turn out to support the UAC no matter where you are.
