According to this piece in The Inquisitr, on July 16th at around 10:00pm that’s exactly what happened. Apparently a group of 13-year-old girls were “live-streaming” onto the web during what I assume was a slumber party of some kind when the 800+ degenerates who showed up to watch them began asking for them to disrobe. Unsurprisingly, the girls did, to the point of nudity. To their credit JustinTV banned the girls’ accounts as soon as they were alerted, but since screen shots and video grabs of those girls nude will circulate on the web eternally, this incident demonstrates how dangerous allowing your kids on the Internet can be.
I’ve blogged before about YouTube and their tolerance of borderline child porn, but with pre-made video uploads it is not unrealistic to demand that companies work to keep child exploitation off their sites. With live streaming there is no reasonable expectation that companies can stop people from trading child porn as long as unsupervised children are allowed to interact with adults online.
When I saw Trench Reynolds’ post on this, I went to the JustinTV site the next day to make sure that the reported incident wasn’t simply an aberration. Within seconds of going to the site at around 2:00pm I saw that one of the top watched streams was of what looked like two 12-year-olds. I won’t post their pictures, but I will post the comments I saw being sent to them:
These girls were at best 12. And this was 2:00 in the afternoon. I can only imagine what kind of people are on the site at night.
Parents need to learn that there is no reason for teens to have web cams, that video sites are pedophile magnets and that you cannot allow your children to be on the Internet alone. Most of all, your 13-year-old doesn’t need to live stream on the web, period. A decade from now those little girls will realize that when some child raping pervert is caught with pictures of children undressed on his hard drive some were pictures of them. When some pervert couldn’t find a victim, he masturbated to the fantasy of molesting them. These children have no idea just how many pedophiles are even now using those shots to arouse themselves, or how many are looking for the girls in the shots themselves. JustinTV was in no position to protect them from that, only their parents were so it’s time for parents to wake up.
and it still goes on when I asked an admin to go to channel I was told its a personal matter not for admin……………whos keeping an eye on these children I know its a parents duty but children will be children and will go where not allowed these sites should be monitored …………..

Hi, I posted that comment a few months ago. I have a blog that outs many a pedophile on JTV, you can click on my name and search for tags like “pedobear” and “pervert” to see what I’m talking about. The old jtvbs blog was deleted by Blogger as Justin tv filed a complaint with them over my blog, since JTV would rather protect the pedophiles on their site then get rid of them. After all, Justin tv is pedo central, and the more pedos on the site, the more ad revenue JTV gets from site hits and viewer counts, so why wouldn’t they go after the few people calling them out on their bullcrap instead of the sickos on the site sexually harassing young children. JTV needs to be shut down, as they are not serious at all about getting rid of this problem. When I asked a few admins on the site about the pedo issue in kids chat rooms and what they were going to do about it, many times I got the response of “it’s not our responsibility to babysit these kids” and then received a ban from their Help channel. It really is a disgrace and I hope the proper authorities look into what is going on at the site and how the people in charge are enabling it.

I am trying to spread the word. What frustrates me the most is that we try to help JTV in making it a safe and clean site, but they ignore or ban us. Our reports to the admins for TOS violations just gets ignored by JTV. A channels returned last night after 4 bans. The mom showed her tits in front of her daughter last year and they keep on coming back. Ever report I do just gets ignored. I got them banned 2 times by sending letter to JTV Staff. The admins DO NOTHING. And last night they returned for the 5th time.

Currently there’s no way to prevent the public from following you aside from blocking them each individually, we’re hopefully going to address that soon.
I’m sorry you feel like we don’t want to clean up the site. The few tools that exist are because of persistent pressure against those who want to do nothing. We are a very small company and we have many choices to make. It becomes very easy to let the status quo remain when there are so many things to worry about. We have to fight that calmly and directly.

The first is that we wanted to thank you for your help recently reporting channels and identifying some of the creeps on the website. We know this is a major problem and we’re (finally) trying to identify new and better ways to manage abuse. However, we are a very small group of people and our attention is constantly being pulled in many directions. It may take us longer than anyone would hope for this to get cleaned up.
The second thing is regarding your recent approach. You’ve repeated in several channels is that you must be over 18 to broadcast. You’ve included threats to these broadcasters that you will have their channel banned if they continue streaming video. It is not against our terms of service for people under 18 to broadcast (you do have to be over 13). We feel it is our responsibility to protect those broadcasters but they have every right to use our website for its intended purpose.
We really do appreciate having you on the site. However, if you continue to threaten other broadcasters and misrepresent the terms of service, we will have to remove your account.

ps – Though the admins are trusted members of the community and we rely on them for a lot of the moderation of the website, the system they use is far from perfect (for example the amount of time between reports and our response is currently unknown but appears to be too long on average) but it is all we have right now. We are trying to find a way to give admins and other users better direction and tools so that we can all create a better environment on the website for people who aren’t doing anything wrong.
