Not a shock for anyone who has had to wade through the saltine flavored angst of a Kos diarist. I’ve posted a few times before about the racism, anti-semitism and cheering on of Arab Imperialism (especially when directed at Africans) that is the meat of DailyKos’ netroot sandwich.
In other words, the only people who couldn’t figure out DailyKos was an Internet Klan rally held by “liberal” White guys who hate Jews, Republicans and Blacks (just like the real Klan) were other “liberal’ White guys who didn’t know what “uncle Tom” or “New York money men” meant when coming out of the craw of some White guy.
WaPo has finally pulled the Kos race card. Go figure, it has a White Pride logo on it. Hot Air and Ace of Spades are all over this and Pandagon to their credit does mention the Wapo article, though Marcotte whitewashes it later (pun intended).
Let’s not forget that Kos once banned a Black man after he was called a monkey by some of the “liberal” diarists there. If that incident, months old at this point, didn’t prove conclusively to everyone what kind of hate site DailyKos is, then Wapo’s sniping is to no avail.
All White “liberals” are racists. The new liberalism, based on Marxism and identity politics, creates a political environment where Whites can maintain their base racist assumptions of the inferiority of others and the need for a superior class (themselves) to lead the benighted brown peoples to a “common good.” Unlike the classical liberal who valued individuality the new “liberal” sees different groups of people as part of a class to either be protected, subjugated or eliminated.
The new left is the home of the new klan, which is why as a man of African descent I vote Republican. After all, there are two parties in this country run by rich White men, and one keeps my taxes low and will allow me to shoot the mob who comes on my lawn to burn a cross.
You are SO right about DailyKos. That’s why I set up the “Truth About Kos” blog – to uncover and publicize not only the anti-Black hatred at that blog, but also the homophobia of the blog’s owner, who opposed gays in the military. Moulitsas said,

God help us if someone like that ever gains any real power in the Democratic Party. It’s bad enough having one national party run exclusively by white men, but if the Democratic Party were as all-white as YearlyKos then only Nelson Mandela could help us with that kind of apartheid.

Thanks for the links. I hope my readers will take a look. I disagree with you though on certain points, like which party is better for minorities (I think Blacks should withhold their support from Dems until they purge Robert Byrd and admit that Blacks don’t “need” them) but one thing we can agree on is that the old Democratic party, the party of JFK, is worth saving from people like Moulitsas.
I say this as a proud bi-racial Republican raised in an all Black family who voted for Lieberman last election cycle. We’d probably butt heads on a lot, but on this I’m with you 100%.

Personally, the wife and I have been thinking about getting into this whole gun thing (I was in a rifle club in jr. high school). I know there are some gun clubs in Brooklyn.
Het Joe. I just got back, the wife and in S.C. looking for houses, we sold ours here. Yeah I think their are some gun clubs around, but they don’t make it easy here. You’ve got to pay the state around $300 every two years just for the privalge of owning a gun. It takes months to process and NYC actually has stricter gun laws than almost every other state in the union.
I think CT does it better, 14 day waiting period where the police check to see if you’re a felon, and only handguns have extra hoops to go through, but that’s just a safety course you take given by an NRA instructor. E-mail me if you’re going soon!
