One of the teens was 18 so hopefully he’ll be charged as an adult. Republican Scott Rigell was targeted by what we assume were leftists for a terror attack the main stream media is covering up.

Isn’t it weird that on a story this big only local Virginia Beach papers are covering it?

VIRGINIA BEACH — Two teens have been arrested and charged with detonating two “bottle bombs” at Mount Trashmore in Virginia Beach on Saturday.

An 18-year-old, who has not yet been identified to the media, was arrested along with a juvenile who will not be identified because of his age. They are charged with manufacturing and use of an explosive device.

Tim Riley, spokesman for the Virginia Beach Fire Department, said additonal charges are pending.

The two chemical bombs were set off on Saturday morning. One of them, left at a rally for U.S. Congressional candidate Scott Rigell, was thought to be a discarded bottle and placed in a trash can before it exploded. The other was set off near a playground.

The trashcan contained the blast so it was dumb luck that no one was injured. That the other was left at a playground proves how depraved the two are. Yet, no one is commenting on this story. Interesting.

The 18-year-old has been identified as Jacob Loughlin and the bombs were designed to cause chemical burns and blindness:

An adult and a juvenile were charged in connection with two bottle bombs that exploded Saturday at Mount Trashmore, and investigators said Monday they found six other devices at the park.

Jacob Loughlin, 18, of Virginia Beach was charged with eight counts of manufacture, possession and use of an explosive device, according to a Fire Department news release. The juvenile, whose name was not released because of his age, faces the same charges.

Each count is a Class 3 felony, which carries a maximum penalty of five to 20 years in prison.

A tip Monday morning led investigators to the arrests, the release said.

No injuries from the bottle bombs were reported, according to fire officials, but anyone who had been near one of the devices could have suffered chemical burns or been blinded, according to the release.

“One of the things we want to stress is how serious this is because the chemical makeup will cause permanent disability because of the maiming of hands and the burns to the skin,” said Battalion Chief Tim Riley, Fire Department spokesman.

On Saturday, firefighters and police were called to Mount Trashmore about 10:30 a.m. after one of the bottles blew up in a trash can.

It had been tossed or rolled into a crowd at the Diversity Octoberfest rally. Someone picked it up and threw it into a trash can, where it exploded.

A second bottle blew up near a playground. Some of the other six devices that were found had exploded, Riley said Monday.

The Rigell campaign is saying they don’t believe the bombing was politically motivated, but what other explanation is there for two Marxist indoctrinated youth rolling a chemical bomb into a crowd of Republicans?
