Paris is Burning … Again

Muslim youth are once again exerting their authority over the French population in a preview of what is to come in all of Europe.

From The Telegraph:

One person fired at police with a handgun in the rioting in a housing project in Bagnolet, on Paris’ eastern edge, and 29 cars were torched, the interior ministry said.

The latest bout of suburban violence erupted after an 18-year-old pizza deliverer lost control of his motorbike while fleeing a police identity check. He died en route to the hospital.

Later Sunday night, a group of around 40 local youths hurled Molotov cocktails, stones and other objects at police and emergency workers on the scene. They also smashed windows of a secondary school and shop. One person was arrested and order restored.

Brice Hortefeux, the interior minister, called for calm and insisted that “all light will be shed” on the cause of the young man’s death. An autopsy was scheduled yesterday (Monday).

The internal police watchdog agency is also investigating the incident. A police official said there was no contact between the police car and the motorcycle.

Tensions have remained rife in France’s deprived, high-immigrant suburbs since riots swept through the country in 2005.

Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux called for calm after the overnight violence, signalling fears that unrest by angry suburban youth could spread from Bagnolet, on Paris’ eastern edge. Mr. Hortefeux announced plans for an internal police investigation with results to be made public.

Police reinforced their presence in Bagnolet, and some 40 vans of riot police were seen outside the housing project where the rioting occurred. No one was injured, authorities said.

Some witnesses claimed that a police car hit the 18-year-old’s motorcycle after he tried to flee a document check outside the project. “I saw it with my own eyes …. He didn’t stop (and) they hit him,” Alexandre Matthias told iTele TV station.

However, Philibert Demory, deputy prosecutor of Bobigny, which handles the region, said that “as it stands so far there is no element to show contact” between the two vehicles. He asked witnesses to come forward.

The teenager lost control of his motorcycle and hit a metal barrier; he then died en route to the hospital, police said.

About 40 young people hurled Molotov cocktails and projectiles at police and emergency workers on the scene, and one person fired a handgun at police, Mr. Hortefeux’s office said in a statement.

The rioters set fire to 29 cars and smashed windows of a high school and store, the statement said. One person was detained and order was restored after police reinforcements arrived.

Flowers and a note were left at the metal barrier to mark the young man’s death.

Mr. Hortefeux insisted that “all light will be shed” on the cause of the young man’s death with an internal investigation.

It’s pretty obvious what’s going on here. Muslims are blaming the police for the accidental death of a criminal and they will get the police to back down and remove the offending check points. Islamist control of France will move one step forward while rule of law takes two steps back. And we’re heading in the same direction:

Sharia Courts in Canada?

Looks like the stealth Jihad is picking up pace in Canada. Counter-Jihad blog Because No One Asked reported that the Saskatoon Muslim Federation is openly calling for Muslims to “settle disputes” in religious courts rather than civil courts, which is a violation of the fundamental Republican ideal of rule of law and perhaps more importantly, as B.N.O.A. points out a violation of section 15.1 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Here’s the text published by B.N.O.A.:

Saskatoon Muslim Foundation (SMF) would like to inform you that the foundation is ready and willing to play a positive role in the area of conflict resolution within our Muslim community in Saskatoon. Our community, Alhamdullellah, is growing. With growth come the positive aspects of larger numbers, more financial and human resources, and diversity in educational level, languages, habits, and background. But also increasing number of conflicts among our community members and institutions can be expected.

We at SMF, and based on actual incidents, strongly believe that we can and should establish a “home-grown” wisdom and mechanism to handle any conflicts within the community before growing out of scale, and before spreading outside the boundaries of our community. We commit to approach such issues in an Islamic and impartial manner to the best of our ability.

If you become aware of or you become part of any conflict in our community, please do not hesitate to bring it to our attention. Based on the agreement of all parties in conflict, we will be able to conduct mediation or arbitration in order to reach a peaceful and Islamic solution to any conflict within our community. Based on the nature of the case under consideration, SMF will form a committee of respectable members of our community to conduct the mediation/arbitration process.

Clearly if this applies to divorce, child custody or any of a number of legal issues involving men and women, women will not be afforded the same justice they would receive in Canadian court. If these courts are used to mediate criminal complaints, then the Canadian government will be allowing an apartheid system to operate in their borders. Because there have been several high profile honor killings in Canada and America people are (rightfully it seems to me) concerned about allowing Islamic practices to supersede a nation’s justice system and thus their sovereignty as they have begun to in England. Which for Islamic Imperialists like the Wahhabi is exactly the point.

One law for all. It is the foundation of Western Civilization and a principle that cannot be allowed to be undone by political correctness.

MS-13 Smuggling Hundreds of Muslims Across Mexican Border

It’s no secret that MS-13 has ties to Al-Qaeda going back at least to early 2002. Jihad Watch ran a post on Al-Qaeda’s link to MS-13 back in January of 2005 and FrontPage ran a piece a week or so earlier about the connection that included some disturbing details about high ranking known AQ operatives spotted meeting with the gang in Honduras. One of the first pieces I wrote for Red Alerts detailed the link between the Kries faction of the Aryan Nations, Radical Islamist groups and the Bolivarian revolution in Latin America.

The Narco-terror/Islamist connection has been a story that has slowly fallen off most people’s radar unfortunately. I myself forgot about it until alerted to this piece by Dr. Paul William of The Last Crusade that just ran on Family Security Matters that details how little progress we’ve made in the last few years:

In the wake of 9/11, Mara Salvatrucha attracted the attention of top al Qaeda officials, who realized that the gang could be used to smuggle operatives and weapons into the United States.[1] An agreement was forged between the terrorists and the gang-bangers. In exchange for safe passage across the border, al Qaeda – through its cells in South America – agreed to pay the Maras from $30,000 to $50,000 for each sleeper agent they managed to smuggle into the country with bogus matricula consulars.[2]

Matricula consulars are official identification cards that are issued by the Mexican government through its consular offices. The cards verify that the bearers are Mexican citizens who are living outside of Mexico
with the government’s permission.

According to U.S. officials, these cards pose a grave threat to national security. Steven McCraw, assistant director of the FBI’s Office of Intelligence, told a House Judiciary Subcommittee: “The ability of foreign nationals to use the matricula consular provides an opportunity for terrorists to move freely within the United States without triggering name-based watch lists that are disseminated to local police officers.”

Counterfeit matricula consulars are easy to obtain. In Los Angeles, the going rate is $90; in New York City, $150.

According to border patrol officials, including Sheriff D’Wayne Jenigan of Del Rio, Texas, thousands of Special Interest Aliens (SIAs), with the help of Mara Salvatrucha “coyotes,” have made their way across the Mexican border and into the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Such SIAs come from countries that pose national security concerns: Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Somalia, Yemen, Jordan, Lebanon, and even Iraq.

The routes used by illegal aliens to enter the U.S. have become littered with discarded Muslim prayer blankets, pages from Islamic texts, and Arabic newspapers. Law enforcement officials have named such passageways “terrorists’ alleys” and a street leading north from the city of Douglas, Arizona, as “Arab Road.”

Ready for that fence? The Obama administration is less interested in securing our southern border than Bush, who I respect but had a blind spot on the dangers Mexico poses to us. We need to keep stories like this circulating so that this homeland security issue doesn’t remained buried on the back page until something happens that makes the front page.

Muslims Are Allowed to Eat Mermaids Under Most Islamic Jurisprudence

Yes, Muslims are allowed to participate in quasi-cannibalism under their understanding of their clearly evil god’s code of behavior. Let’s pretend for a moment Mermaids exist. These would be half-human half fish women who, while dangerous and cannibalistic in their own right, would be sentient beings capable of communicating with humans. And the Muslim answer to such a wondrous experience is to eat those women.

You don’t need to be Freud to figure this one out. From Islam QA via Jihad Watch:

A mermaid is a creature that lives in water and looks like a human. As to whether it really exists or it is a mythical being, that is subject to further discussion.

It says in a footnote in al-Mawsoo’ah al-Fiqhiyyah (5/129): From the modern academic resources that are available to us, it may be understood that the mermaid, which is called Sirène in French, is a mythical creature that is described in fairy tales as having an upper body like a woman and a lower half like a fish.

Many of the fuqaha’ mentioned mermaids and differed on the ruling concerning them. Some of them said that they are permissible (to eat) because of the general meaning of the evidence which says that whatever is in the sea is permissible. This is the view of the Shaafa’is and Hanbalis, and is the view of most of the Maalikis and of Ibn Hazm and others. And some of them regarded it as haraam because it is not a kind of fish. This is the view of the Hanafis and of al-Layth ibn Sa’d.

Ibn Hazm (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in al-Muhalla (6/50): As for that which lives in the water and cannot live anywhere else, it is all halaal no matter what state it is in, whether it is caught alive and then dies, or it dies in the water and then floats or does not float, whether it was killed by a sea creature or a land animal. It is all halaal to eat, whether it is the pig of the sea (i.e., a dolphin), a mermaid, or a dog of the sea (i.e., shark) and so on. It is halaal to eat, whether it was killed by an idol-worshipper, a Muslim, a kitaabi (Jew or Christian) or it was not killed by anyone. The proof of that is the verses in which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And the two seas (kinds of water) are not alike: this is palatable, sweet and pleasant to drink, and that is salt and bitter. And from them both you eat fresh tender meat (fish)” [Faatir 35:12] and “Lawful to you is (the pursuit of) water game and its use for food — for the benefit of yourselves and those who travel” [al-Maa’idah 5:64]. Allaah spoke in general terms and did not exclude anything, “and your Lord is never forgetful” [Maryam 19:64]. End quote.

Al-Durayr – a Maaliki scholar – said in al-Sharh al-Sagheer (2/182): Sea animals in general are permissible, whether it is dead meat or a ‘dog’ (shark) or a ‘pig’ (dolphin), and they do not need to be slaughtered properly. End quote.

Al-Saawi said in his commentary on that: The words “or a ‘dog’ or a ‘pig’ also include a ‘human’, referring thereby to mermaids. End quote.

Read the whole ruling as it gets more disturbing. As an aside it is simply insane to claim it should be an accepted practice to eat fish you find dead of unknown causes, and the above seems to indicate Muslims can eat alive, including mermaids. Again, you need not be Freud to get a handle on what we’re talking about here.

But think about this for a second. A Muslim comes across a beautiful naked woman with a fish tail instead of legs on a beach and technically he can begin tearing out chunks of her flesh while she’s still alive and it’s considered acceptable behavior? This is a religion worthy of universal respect? This is a religion above criticism? I’m an Islamophobe for being disgusted by this?

How would people treat Christians if they were allowed to rape any elf or fairy they caught? What would people think of Jews if they went on an annual hunt to try to catch and eat Santa Claus? Though you know such a thing wouldn’t be possible, wouldn’t you be able to make a judgment about the religion, or at least its adherents, just from what they considered acceptable? With Islam, however, no matter how many bizarre and barbaric practices they promote we in the West are steadfast in not passing any kind of value judgment, no matter how badly needed that judgment is.

I just hope Bambi the Mermaid has extra security at the next Coney island Mermaid Parade.

Minneapolis Struggling with Rise of “Somali” Gangs

This report shows the problem not only with anti-assimilationist multiculturalism but with the mincing political correctness that makes it impossible to tell the truth about the danger of importing violent Muslims from war zones into our country and allowing them to ghettoize themselves. Somali American Muslims have already been found fighting the Jihad in Somalia, participating in hate crimes against non-Muslims and of course Denver cyanide terror suspect Saleman Abdirahman Dirie was a Somali Muslim from Canada who likely received financial and material support form the American Somali community.

Now this report from MyWay News shows that Somali gangs are out of control in Minneapolis and the police are basically powerless to stop it:

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – Ahmednur Ali’s family fled the chaos and violence of their West African homeland Somalia in the 1990s, eventually making their way to Minnesota like thousands of their compatriots.

While many of the estimated 32,000 Somalis who settled in the state have struggled to adapt, Ali flourished, blazing a path to Minneapolis’ Augsburg College on a soccer scholarship by age 20. He studied political science and aspired to a political career modeled on President Barack Obama’s.

He was shot and killed last September outside a busy community center where he worked part-time as a youth counselor, and prosecutors said the 16-year-old accused of killing him was part of a gang.

Ali was one of seven Minneapolis-area Somali men killed over a 10-month period, and authorities believe all were killed by fellow Somalis. Police say it’s too simple to tie all the killings to Somali gangs, which have lured hundreds of young community members to their ranks in recent years.

Those in the insular community willing to speak out, however, disagree.

“It was all gang activity, totally, 100 percent,” said Shukri Adan, a former Somali community organizer who estimated in a 2007 report for the city that between 400 and 500 young Somalis were active in gangs. “The police don’t want to say that but everybody else knows that.”

Despite anger and despair over the killings in Minnesota’s Somali community – the nation’s largest – police and prosecutors have struggled to catch and try the killers. Few witnesses have stepped forward because of a fear of reprisal and deep-rooted distrust of authority. More than half of Minnesota’s Somalis are living in poverty, according to state statistics, and many complain that authorities are biased against Somalis because of their Islamic faith.

Last month, prosecutors dropped the murder charge against the teenage boy in Ali’s case after one witness backed out and another apparently fled the state.

Gangs like the Somali Hot Boyz, the Somali Mafia and Madhibaan with Attitude have grown more active in recent years, said Jeanine Brudenell, the Minneapolis Police Department’s Somali liaison officer.

This coddling of Somali Muslim sensibilities is in part the reason their community is so easily overrun by gangs. I will bet you that part of the problem in Minneapolis is tension between hardliner Muslims and semi-modern gang members vying for control of the community. A community which has either imported or developed a “no snitchin'” mentality that has turned them into a population of sheep preyed on by wolves from their own community.

Almost two years ago I blogged about the rape committed by Somali immigrant Rage Ibrahim who brutally violated a Somali woman in a apartment complex hallway monitored by video camera. The tape shows that at least ten of the woman’s fellow immigrants opened their doors, saw what happened and did nothing. The Somali Justice Center, a hotbed of radical Islam, claimed Rage was innocent even though he was on tape raping a woman.

More recently I blogged about video surfacing of Somali children throwing rocks at and harassing a gay man on a Minnesota street in broad daylight:

Clearly there is more wrong in the Somali community than a few hundred gang members. But don’t expect to read that in any news report.
