The men have been reported as Mormons, though KDBC is reporting that they may have been Mennonites. Regardless, two American citizens standing up for justice were murdered by the narco-terror gangs of Mexico that neither the American nor Mexican governments seem to be able to control.

He is Ted Perez and he is a suicidal sex offender who kidnapped a baby:
PUEBLO, Colo. — Police issued a media alert Friday morning for a man who may try to kill his infant daughter.
Ted Perez, 26, was last seen with the 9-month-old girl on Friday, May 29.
The Pueblo Police Department said he is a registered sex offender. In his last sighting, he reportedly made statements about killing the young girl. Perez is known to use narcotics and is suicidal, Pueblo police said.
Authorities said this is not an Amber Alert because Perez does not have a vehicle and is known to travel by foot or by bicycle.
Perez is Hispanic, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and a tattoo on the right side of his neck that says “Selena.”
He also has a tattoos on his left chest that says “Mom,” on his left forearm that says “Helen,” and on his right arm that says “Usenia.” The word “Perez” is tattooed in the center of his abdomen and on his right foot the word “Ted” is tattooed.
Iyana Perez is Hispanic, about 30 inches tall and weighs 20 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

I’ve blogged before about the racist pogroms led by Latino gangs, often full of illegal immigrants who refuse to assimilate and import the bigotry of Latin America here, and how Liberals are happy to let the Black Americans die to ensure Latinos remain a voting bloc for them. All Mexican Mafia affiliated gangs, including the Avenues, have a “greenlight” on any Black person that comes in their territory regardless of whether or not that person has gang affiliations. Jamiel Shaw was murdered by a Latino gang banger simply because he was black. The Newark Murders where committed by a Latino gang who targeted those poor children simply because they were Black. Thousands of Blacks have been assaulted, raped and murdered by Latino gangs simply because they were Black and White Liberals and the parasitic Black “leadership” in this country do nothing.
Now another Latino gang, The Varrio Hawaiian Garden Gang, has been found to be engaged in ethnic cleansing of Blacks in their territory:
HAWAIIAN GARDENS, Calif. (AP) – A Latino street gang waged a racist campaign to eliminate the city’s black residents through attempted murders and other crimes, according to federal racketeering indictments unsealed Thursday.
Five indictments charged a total of 147 members and associates of the Varrio Hawaiian Gardens gang, and federal and local agencies arrested 63 of them by early Thursday, U.S. Attorney Thomas P. O’Brien said at a news conference.
Another 35 defendants were already in custody on unrelated charges. Weapons and drugs worth more than $1 million also were seized in what O’Brien called “the largest gang takedown in United States history.”
The indictments detail attempted murder, kidnapping, firearms, narcotics and other charges related to attacks by the gang, which is predominantly Latino and mainly operates in Hawaiian Gardens, a city of about 15,000 in southeastern Los Angeles County.
“(Varrio Hawaiian Gardens) gang members take pride in their racism and often refer to the VHG Gang as the `Hate Gang,'” the main indictment said. “VHG gang members have expressed a desire to rid the city of Hawaiian Gardens of all African-Americans and have engaged in a systematic effort to achieve that result by perpetrating crimes against African-Americans.”
The indictment alleges a string of attacks on black residents, including a shooting into a home with eight people inside. The indictment does not say if anyone was hit.
In another instance, two gang members allegedly chased a black man, yelled a racist epithet at him and then beat him with a garden rake. The same man was later repeatedly stabbed by two gang members, according to the indictment, which charged them with his attempted murder.
According to 2000 census data, the latest available, Hawaiian Gardens was roughly 73 percent Hispanic and 4 percent black.
The investigation into the gang was apparently started when the gang murdered a Sheriff’s deputy named Jerry Ortiz who was investigating a hate crime. Here’s a local video via Youtuber StephenLoneWolf:

Again, I might ask Jesse and Al what they have to say about the increasing numbers of illegal aliens who are slowly pushing blacks out of their homes, businesses and cities? All while everybody claims to welcome these aliens with open arms and fails to mention that Latino/Black conflict is real, devastating to the community and should not be tolerated.
And I must also question the role of the Catholic Church which openly embraces illegal aliens, provides sanctuary and then buries both the perpetrators and their victims in sanctified soil.
I can’t comment on the church, but Sharpton and Jackson are too busy tap dancing for White Leftists to care about the genocide of Black Americans. As is Reverend Jeremiah Wright and his church full of Marxist house slaves, who have the time to protest on behalf of Jihadists, but not our own brothers and sisters who are dying in our own country.
I’m not sure if the immigrants are Muslim, but that would track with the behavior of Muslim immigrants of African descent in France where police are routinely injured by crowds while trying to keep the peace. The arrestees are from Somalia, and as the report says, “from other African countries” which makes me think Islam is the uniting factor unless this area creates an immigrant solidarity that America has not seen in European and Latin/Central American immigrants.

But the real story is that whatever the cause, the police in Portland have been put on notice that they do not run the streets:
PORTLAND — Several juveniles and adults face charges following a melee at Franklin Arterial and Fox Street that began when police stopped and arrested a shoplifting suspect and an unruly crowd gathered.
Police responded to a report that a man had stolen two bottles of vodka at 7 p.m. Friday at the Hannaford on Forest Avenue.
Workers at the store provided a description of the suspect and the car he left in, and police pulled the car over at Franklin Arterial and Fox Street a couple of minutes later, police said.
As police were arresting Jimmy Odong, 19, of Portland and recovering the stolen merchandise, a group of about 15 to 30 people gathered, with about 10 of them becoming aggressive toward police, officers said.
A number of other officers were dispatched to the area, which is alongside the Kennedy Park housing development. Members of the gathering group, some of whom are Sudanese, like Odong, and some who are from other African countries, began calling the officers names, including “killers” and “murderers,” in apparent reference to the police shooting of a Sudanese immigrant, David Okot, last month.
When police prepared to tow the car Odong had driven, some of the crowd jumped on the car to try to prevent it from being taken, police said.
Three juveniles eventually were arrested, two of them on charges of assault after they allegedly punched the officers, police said.
Police also charged Yannick Mulongo, 21, of Clark Street with unlawful interference with a law enforcement dog, after he allegedly taunted a police dog named Taz; and Sara Langoia, 18, of Anderson Street with obstructing government administration.
Police said they had to use pepper spray in making the arrests.
Since the original crook was stealing vodka I am leery to claim he was a Muslim, although many Muslims do in fact break that rule and drink. It could simply be the effects of coming from a war torn area with no real authority. Police capitulation will only make things worse in that respect. Surprise, they did:
The shift commander reported that additional arrests were warranted, but officers opted not to arrest others so the confrontation would not escalate.
Allowing some people to leave unmolested after assaulting cops will escalate things in the future. This story is bad news for America, and any hope you had that we wouldn’t be returning to 1970s levels of criminality along with 1970s style politics. Where’s Charles Bronson when you need him?

Robert D. Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced today that a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the location and arrest of ORLIN ORTIZ, age 19, whose last known address was 4355 West Thomas in Chicago.
ORTIZ, who is a Honduran national, is wanted by the Chicago Police Department (CPD) for the April 9, 2009 murder of his 28-year old girlfriend, Maribel Alvarez, who was a Chicago native. ORTIZ was charged in a criminal complaint filed this week in U.S. District Court in Chicago with Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution, which is a felony offense. The filing of this complaint has led to the initiation of a nationwide manhunt for ORTIZ, which is being coordinated by the Chicago FBI.
According to the complaint, ORTIZ is believed to have stabbed Alvarez to death in his apartment, following an apparent domestic dispute. ORTIZ fled the scene before police arrived and has not been seen since. While it is possible that ORTIZ has fled the area, initial investigation by the FBI and CPD has led investigators to believe that ORTIZ is still in Chicago, attempting to raise the funds necessary to aid in his return to his native Honduras.
ORTIZ has been in the United States illegally since 2008 and speaks limited English. He has family members in Chicago, as well as New York City and Los Angeles.
ORTIZ is described as a Hispanic/male, 5’ 7†tall, 140 – 150 lbs., medium build, with black hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the areas of Devon and Western, Division and Kostner, Division and Pulaski and Warren Park.
Based on the charge of First Degree Murder that is pending against him, ORTIZ should be considered Armed and Dangerous.
The search for ORTIZ is being coordinated by the Chicago FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which is comprised of FBI Special Agents, Detectives from the Chicago Police Department and Investigators from the Cook County Sheriff’s office. Anyone recognizing ORTIZ or having any information as to his current whereabouts is asked to call the Chicago FBI at (312) 421-6700 or the Chicago Police Department.
