Seattle Area Jihadi Gets Plea Bargain in Attacks on Military Recruiters?

Michael Dale McCright who goes by the name Makhail Jihad is an ex-con career criminal who tried to run military recruiters off the road on the in a clear act of Islamic terrorism. At the time of his arrest he was found to have been in contact with another Muslim terrorist named Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif (Anthony Davis) who along with Walli Mujahidh (Frederick Domingue Jr) was plotting to attack recruiting centers with assault rifles and grenades.

From a 2011 article in The Seattle Times:

An ex-con with possible ties to the alleged ringleader of a plot to attack Seattle’s Military Entrance Processing Station with assault rifles and hand grenades has been charged with assault for allegedly trying to run two Marine recruiters off Interstate 5 near Northgate.

Michael Dale McCright, who prosecutors say uses the nickname “Mikhail Jihad” on the Internet, is facing his “third strike” and a possible life sentence if convicted of the attack.

He has an extensive criminal history, including convictions for first-degree robbery in 2006, assault in 2005 and other felony crimes.

[…]

According to charging documents, at the time of his arrest on July 12, McCright had a telephone that had been used to call Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif. Abdul-Latif and another man were swept up in an FBI-Seattle police sting in June after allegedly plotting to kill federal employees and military recruits at the Military Entrance Processing Station on East Marginal Way over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

The charging documents say that McCright remains under investigation by the FBI for “possible ties to domestic terrorism.”

[…]

Marine Staff Sgt. Ryan Picklesimer described the driver as a “bearded white male wearing a tightfitting, white knit hat.” The driver slowed, apparently to look at the government plate on Picklesimer’s car, then came alongside and saw the sergeant in his uniform.

“Picklesimer reported, ‘His eyes widened and he appeared to become angry,’ ” and then swerved at the sergeant’s car, forcing Picklesimer to take evasive action to avoid being hit, the charges allege. The sergeant was able to get the car’s license number, and he gave it to police.

McCright was arrested on Sept. 8 after repeatedly refusing to meet with detectives, according to the charges.

Though this was a third strike for the uncooperative Mikhail Jihad, he’s being allowed to cop a plea:

A man with an extensive criminal history and possible terrorist ties has admitted he tried to run two military recruiters off the road on I-5 near Northgate.

In a plea agreement, Michael McCright, also known as Mikhail Jihad, pleaded guilty to charges that will not count under the state’s three-strikes law. The Seattle Times reports McCright could have faced a life sentence if convicted under the three strikes rule.

Prosecutors will ask that a judge sentence McCright to four and a half years in prison for convictions on felony harassment and attempted malicious mischief.

The 28-year-old Jihad will be out when he’s in his early 30s – anyone think he won’t try something again? This man was involved with people plotting terror attacks on America, is a violent career criminal and this was his third strike yet he’s able to plead out and get less than five years. Talk about Hug-a-Thug justice. His next victims should sue the people who handled this case.

Cartel Paramilitaries Continued Threat Destabilizing American South West

Via N.T.A. we have two reports that show the cartels are expanding operations and capabilities in an alarming way. First from KRGV:

MEXICO CITY (AP) – Mexican marines say they have found a clandestine workshop in northern Mexico where presumed drug traffickers made copies of military uniforms.

The navy says hundreds of camouflage pants, shirts and vests were found at the workshop in the northern border city of Piedras Negras., across the border from Eagle Pass, Texas.

The uniforms are part of an effort by criminal gangs to damage the reputation of the marine corps, the navy said Thursday.

Drug gangs in Mexico have also used fake military uniforms to set up road blocks and carry out kidnappings.

They’ve also launched another car bomb attack which is clearly inspired by the Muslim groups the Cartels work with:

The newly commissioned officers, who hail from around the state, were staying in the hotel until permanent barracks were built. Mexican police frequently requisition hotels in the absence of official barracks, or when threats make it unsafe for them to live at home.

The head of state police and Tamaulipas’ attorney general said three of the wounded officers had third-degree burns, while the rest had minor injuries.

The attack on the hotel took place around 7:15 a.m. on one of the main streets in Nuevo Laredo, less than four hours after unknown gunmen hurled gasoline bombss at the Maranho, one of the city’s most popular nightclubs. The club, which was closed at the time, was badly damaged by fire but there were no injuries, authorities said.

Minutes after the hotel attack, gunmen opened fire on the Nuevo Laredo Institute of Technology, a science-focused university.

Nuevo Laredo is a stronghold of the Zetas. It has been the scene of vicious turf battles between the gang and its former ally, the Gulf cartel, which is now allied with the Zetas’ biggest rival, the Sinaloa cartel led by Joaquin “El Chapo’’ Guzman.

The border city has seen a series of gruesome mass killings in recent week. Fourteen bodies were found in a van in downtown Nuevo Laredo on April 17, and 23 people found hanged or decapitated in the border city on May 4.

Thursday’s attack came less than a week after a high-ranking member of the Zetas was arrested and accused of orchestrating the dumping of 49 mutilated bodies in a northern Mexico town square in order to create terror and confusion as part of a battle with the Gulf and Sinaloa cartels.

That attack has a definite Taliban style feel to it and was clearly done with the sole purpose of publicly declaring that they are in charge of the area.

On our side of the border a hollow state overrun by criminal paramilitaries has led to Americans forming their own paramilitaries which are challenging governmental authority:

Lawmakers killed a bill that would have created a state-sanctioned border militia, but that didn’t squelch the Minuteman impulse in Arizona.

Neither did the movement’s ties to border-militia leader and neo-Nazi J.T. Ready, who killed four people and apparently killed himself May 2 in Gilbert.

People in the cause remain committed to patrolling spots near the Arizona-Mexico border to stop what they see as an invasion by smugglers or illegal immigrants, said participants, their supporters and their critics. Some may be even more motivated now that their plan for state organization was ended by a legislative maneuver.

“There is a large military veteran population in our state who would go down there and do the work that the state needs done under the state flag,” said Michael Frye of Spring Valley, Ariz., who supported SB 1083, which would have created the Arizona Special Missions Unit. Now, he said, “There’s really no other choice but for those folks like myself to form citizen militias.”

A longtime Arizona border-militia leader, Jack Foote, worked for a period with the group that wrote the bill and said its demise is motivating sympathizers of the border-militia movement.

“We have now washed our hands of our state’s Legislature,” Foote, of Cottonwood, said via email. “Now we are going to do things our own way.”

I’ve been talking about the three way dance on the border between American citizens tired of being victimized, Mexican criminal groups and National Socialists for a while and despite what the media would have you think J.T Ready and his ilk were never welcome among the border groups. They were welcomed with open arms by Occupy but that’s another story.

The point is when the shooting starts in earnest you will have Cartel paramilitaries and neo-Nazis shooting it out with American patriots who no longer believe in the American government’s ability to protect their lives and property.

The Blaze has more.

James Rawles Survival Blog Taken Down by DOS Attack

A reader emailed me to say he had been having trouble getting to Survival Blog in the last day or so and sure enough when I went over there was a message saying they were experiencing a DOS attack and not to reload the page.

In April The Epoch Times was attacked in a similar way and the Chi-Coms were suspected.

Recently Rawles site had several articles about government agencies collecting date and in late 2011 there were several posts which used Occupy as an example of civil unrest and societal breakdown. I suspect the latter is the reason Survival Blog was attacked as I have written about Occupy and Anonymous vindictiveness to even mild criticism.

Robert Lee Newton, Jr and Anna Featherston Win! Plus a Contest

Originally posted at Greenville Dragnet

Apparently everything I say about Robert Lee Newton and Anna Featherston is libel and due to the constant threats of law suits I’ll be pulling all articles about them and will not be mentioning them again. One of many sticking points in this has been the fact that people who say they are still owed substantial sums of money from the failed business Anna Featherston ran were afraid of being targeted by the Dick James lawfirm for speaking out. However Robert Lee Newton has assured me that he is not representing her in that matter so I assume these people should have nothing to fear from him for going public. That being the case there’s really not much of a battle here to fight unless I want to be bankrupted on principle.

Robert Lee Newton has also assured me that despite my concern that this was just a first of many demands he would make until Greenville Dragnet closed alogether that he would not be threatening any more suits after these items are pulled. Of that we will see.

Indirectly Robert Lee Newton has actually given me an idea for a new idea for a category. See aside from being one of the few states that don’t have SLAPP protection Bobby Lee has pointed out SC case law which finds that being critical of the way someone does their job is libel. So all you people posting negative reviews on Angie’s List watch your asses! So in the future especially juicy stories will be run as blind items, the douchebag’s way of avoiding litigious people.

So I am starting a Blind Item category and in soliciting for scandalous stories from readers. At the end of the year the person sending in the juiciest, most scandalous item will win a prize! Here’s an example of a blind item for readers:

Can anyone guess what “progressive” organization throwing money around in South Carolina has connections with Hugo Chavez and the communist narco-insurgencyFARC? Here’s a hint, they have as members several very prominent “liberal” citizens in Greenville.

I wasn’t going to run that as a Blind Item because actually it’s well known that the People for the American Way, through their affiliation with Castroite front groups like United for Peace and Justice knowingly support foreign controlled, seditious organizations. But in the Blind Item I just put out the info and let readers do the research as to who it is themselves. So start sending them in people!

And be sure to congratulate Anna Featherston and Robert Lee Newton on their great victory! Also if you see anyone in the area who has ever claimed publicly that I was incompetent, a liar, etc – you know like in a forum or in the comments of a news site, please send that in so I can sue them.
