Just when I thought Ward Churchill’s balderdash and chicanery couldn’t turn my stomach any more, he announces he has black ancestors. Sorry, Ward. It takes more than close physical proximity to a black person to be able to claim black ancestry.

Ward’s latest fabrication came as no surprise to Pirate Ballerina’s Jim Paine, who wrote, “Frankly, we’re surprised Churchill doesn’t go whole-hog and claim he was born a small black child.”

Joe at Dissident News also weighed in on mental Ward’s “revelation”:

The only thing that could complete this hilarious joke of a human being is if Ward announces that he is also disabled due to a mental and emotional handicap. The mental handicap would be extreme stupidity. The emotional handicap would be extreme narcissism. Those would be the only two true statements that Ward has ever made in his life.

When Rob gets back this weekend, I’m betting we’re all in for a real treat – another Ward Churchill-inspired black power moment.

You may remember the YouTube video of the 8 year old O’Reilly-basher that made the rounds late last year – AllahPundit dubbed her “The Littlest Moonbat.”

Sadly, there are plenty of future Kos Kids being radicalized everyday in ways that are utterly abusive on the part of the adults in their lives. Shock & Blog has a disturbing example of this abusive indoctrination – a photo of a soldier being burnt in effigy, marked up to point out the presence of a young girl looking on from just a few feet away. As I mentioned yesterday, far left, anti-American propaganda is also finding its way into public school curricula while school officials turn a blind eye. In NYC, the math curriculum is being influenced by former Weather Underground member Cathy Wilkerson, a convicted criminal who served time on explosives charges following the detonation of a bomb that killed 3 of her radical comrades.

So, we see where little moonbats come from. The question is, what can we do to protect them from the adults in their lives?

There may not be much we can do directly about parents exposing their children to violent and disturbing anti-war imagery, but we can certainly take a stand with regard to what’s going on in our public schools. Let your local school boards and education departments know that it’s not okay for groups like NYCoRE to teach political opinion (left, right, or otherwise) as fact. Let public school teachers and their supervisors know that we demand professional ethics and they will be held accountable.

In today’s NY Post, Sol Stern warns us about “the fifth column in New York City’s public schools” made up of radical, far left teachers using the classroom to promote anti-American ideologies. Marxist groups like the New York Collective of Radical Educators (NYCoRE) and schools like Brooklyn’s El Puente Academy for Peace and Justice advocate shoving extreme left wing politics down the throats of grade school children, all in the name of “social justice” (which has gained increasing acceptance as a legitimate academic discipline).

NYCoRE is sponsoring a conference at El Puente next month on Math Education and Social Justice. One of the educators in attendance will be Cathy Wilkerson, a convicted criminal involved in a domestic bombing plot in 1970.

Among the ideologies these radical teachers seek to bring into the curriculum:

• Katrina was an “unnatural disaster” that exposed the failures of capitalism and democracy and the truth about the “nature of power in our society.

• “No human is illegal,” but “undocumented workers” deserve full amnesty and the same rights as legal immigrants.

• Military recruiters seek to fill their quotas by preying upon low-income communities (because low-income=stupid and gullible.)

• Our notion of patriotism comes from the military and the media, and needs to be rethought.

NYC school children are being intellectually assaulted by socialist educators seeking new acolytes. Sounds a lot like the predatory recruitment tactics NYCoRE has accused the military of employing.

Although Schools Chancellor Joel Klein has paid significant lip service to teacher accountability and standards he and the NYC Department of Education have not addressed these blatantly unethical attempts to force feed political propaganda to children. Chancellor Klein: these teachers have gone too far already – get them out of the classrooms before they do any more damage.
