Gas Riots in Iran

Gateway Pundit has extensive coverage. Hot Air is trying to not get their hopes up. An Iranian Communist organization is involved in the dissemination of videos of the rioting. Will this hurt Iran’s relationship with the Latin American Communist Bloc they’re so chummy with? Here are Parts 1 and 2, 3 and 4 can be found on their YouTube page:

The riots are in response to spur of the moment gas rationing, the government having announced the measures just two hours before implementation. Supposedly the rationing is because they’re expecting sanctions from the west, although I would put forward that with Hamas and Hezbollah appearing to be gearing up for a summer offensive, and Iranian proxies fighting in Lebanon, the rationing indicates that Iran’s getting ready to involve their military directly in conflict with either Israel or coailition forces in Iraq now that their allies have “softened up” thier targets.

Iran’s blaming of the riots on U.S. agents should bolster the arguement that Iran is indeed preparing for war.
