The Blotter is reporting that a recent Taliban propaganda video shows the graduation of American, Canadian, English and German Muslims from a terror training camp where they have planned large scale suicide attacks on their home countries. From The Blotter:
The tape shows Taliban military commander Mansoor Dadullah, whose brother was killed by the U.S. last month, introducing and congratulating each team as they stood.
“These Americans, Canadians, British and Germans come here to Afghanistan from faraway places,” Dadullah says on the tape. “Why shouldn’t we go after them?”
The leader of the team assigned to attack Great Britain spoke in English.
“So let me say something about why we are going, along with my team, for a suicide attack in Britain,” he said. “Whether my colleagues, companions and Muslim brothers die today or tonight, every drop of our blood will invigorate the Muslim (unintelligible).”
U.S. intelligence officials described the event as another example of “an aggressive and sophisticated propaganda campaign.”
Others take it very seriously.
“It doesn’t take too many who are willing to actually do it and be able to slip through the net and get into the United States or England and cause a lot of damage,” said ABC News consultant Richard Clarke, the former White House counter terrorism official.
Fox is reporting that officials from DHS are actively downplaying the report, saying that there is no credible threat to the U.S. despite the fears of counter terrorism experts and the recent reports of homegrown Jihadists flourishing in New York city, home to the September 11th attacks.
A brief look around the web reveals dozens of English speaking Muslims supporting terrorist attacks on the west, many who live in America or Europe. Sites like The Jihad Fields are Calling extol the virtues of dying in a suicide attack while other Muslim sites openly propagandize for Al-Qaeda and Jihadism

I was just begining to wonder why America was still in Iraq. Now with the proposed hydrocarbon law it is clear (who can doubt a proposed document?). It should be obvious to all that the US is doing the world a favor by keeping the oil flowing and bringing this vital resource to the global marketplace. These Iraqis never wanted to participate in the global economy. Why, it will be so much more efficient, removing their oil under occupation that I’m sure that the shareholders of Total, Statoil, and BP will see the benefits as well as consumers. It’s too bad that Saddam Hussein wouldn’t sell oil and we had to pay so much for it before Bush saved our access to it. I was starting to oppose the war, but since Iv’e become aware of peak oil, I think it’s just something that has to be.
