Seem…sounds like the riot is about government pensions and bonuses…Ecuador is a neo-Communist government under Rafael Correa…it seems it might just get another radical nutcase in power instead of Correa.
That seems likely. If there is a coup the new government would have to come up with money for pensions and bonuses and that means full on Marxism, and no doubt military adventurism.
I find it quite funny that Correa would likely try to blame this on the USA when it’s his own policies that would ursher in a more radical Leftist-Communist government.
