Anti-Zionists Driven Off from Israel Day Parade

I went to the Israel Day parade yesterday, one of dozens of patriots who answered the call to show their support for the peaceful celebration of the Jewish state that was targeted by leftists. The NYPD did a wonderful job keeping order and when I arrived the anti-Zionist protesters were already cordoned off and isolated from the rest of the crowd to minimize violence. They were divided into two groups

And Group B:

The two groups were on the same side of the street, but on different ends of the block. The unofficial word is that group A, made up of leftists and their Islamist allies, didn’t want group B near them because they “didn’t want any conflict” between the two groups. In other words, the anti-Zionists couldn’t guarantee that their Muslim friends could stand next to a Jew without violence erupting.

But they aren’t anti-Semites.

Patriots from several different groups were on hand to support our friends in celebrating Israel, and of course many came prepared with signs:

Special thanks to Pamela Hall of the United American Committee for setting up the counter rally, and for enthusiastically getting our point of view across to the anti-Zionist agitators.
