The 2002 Concordia Riots and Radical Islam

There’s a great five part documentary on YouTube detailing the riots that stopped Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned speech to a Jewish group on the Canadian campus. The images are a shocking documentation of not just the violent tendencies of radical Muslims, but of how closely allied radical leftists are with them and how impotent the Canadian authorities are at dealing with this new “revolution.” Whether from political correctness run amok or plain fear of the Jihadist death cult that has taken root in Muslim communities, the authorities involved in this incident allowed a mob of anti-smites to commit violence against innocent people and destroy thousands of dollars worth of property. Here’s part one:

Northern Alliance does us all a great service hosting these vids, but a word of caution. Google Northern Alliance and you’ll mostly find some extremely puerile White Supremacists websites, like this one, and a lot of re-written history about the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Our good N.A. tuber’s aren’t (I think) related to the self-pitying Nazis who post screed after screed about how unfair it is that their considered traitors just because they want to betray their countries. But I wonder if the rise of Militant Islam radicalizes White non-Muslims and drives them to White Power groups?

Velvet Hammer has the jump on me as far as blogging about the alarming trend of Islam being introduced in public school settings, the Concordia situation shows us what can happen when we turn a blind eye toward this instrument of subversion.

  1. Rob, when I was a law student at Columbia University in the late 80s, Netanyahu came to the school to give a lecture. Given that he was the Israeli Ambassador to the UN, I thought that he might have something interesting to say.

Unfortunately, the Palestinian student group disagreed, and, on a much smaller level reacted like the Concordia students. Nevertheless, they did shut down the talk.

However, I will always remember Bibi. He was on the podium for about 20 minutes watching these students go nuts. Then, he stood up, pointed, and shouted, “Enough, you will never learn. We will never leave. You will either accept us, or we will fight you until the end of time.” Something like that. Very inspiring. Then, he turned around and walked out.

  2. Powerful post Rob.

That is a question that begs an answer. Off of the top of my head, I would say there is a strong possibility.

    Thanks for the nod.
