Liberal Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi exempted a Tuna cannery in her district from having to implement the minimum wage increase that the Dem’s promised their constituency. No protests yet from the far left supporters of the new majority, perhaps the workers at the Tuna plant are all Republicans.

Her comments to Secretary Rice were unseemly, childish and breathtakingly inappropriate. But Dr.Rice has always been a target for disrespect by the left, because she’s an independent Black woman who doesn’t need the illusionary largess of white liberals to get by. The real question should be would Boxer, or any on the left, base a criticism of a white woman on whether or not she had children?
At the core of her question is the racist assumption that Black women are just supposed to have children, that single or not Blacks breed like livestock and a single woman who reaches middle age childless has something wrong with her. Like all white “liberals” Boxer views Black women the way breeders view rabbits, as a commodity that becomes useless when it stops squeezing out babies to be sold. That’s when they put them on the chopping block, like Boxer and the left have done to Dr. Rice.
Socialist terror group Epanastatikos Aghonas, which is translated to English as Revolutionary Struggle, fired what is believed to be a Rocket Propelled grenade into the American embassy located in Athens, Greece.
There have been no reported injuries, and the Greek government is denouncing the attack. Fox News is following the story. EA has also claimed responsibility for attacks in the past, including attempting to assassinate the Greek Culture Minister George Voulgarakis. Previous attacks have been with timed or remote detonated explosives however, so this more militaristic attack may be a sign of E.A. adopting a more insurgent like posture, emulating the Iraqi insurgency which they’ve expressed support for.
Just a little poke at Churchill groupie and white Ethnic Studies professor Ben “How dare you call Ward white” Whitmer. Old Ben was spending his time making obscene and vaguely threatening post on a blog called Try-Works under the name “John Mooredock” when he accidently outed himself. Fearing legal reprisal (someone told me he once insinuated that he wanted to rape a woman in a comments section) Try-Works disappeared of the net.
Now it’s back, sans the racist comments he made toward me, of course. Our little dust-up came when he thought my taking offense, as a Black man, to Ward Churchill’s using the Black Power salute was so outrageous as to warrent sending me a “missive”, and so like people… like me.
Anyway Try-Works is back up but all his nonsense was cut out, and his post are as banal as ever, but without the racist/sexist/childish tone that gets bloggers hearts all aflutter. Maybe I can coax the real Whitmer out for a round or two of vile insults by sticking to my original claim that Ward Churchill, Ben Whitmer and everyone else at Try-Works is in fact white. This seemed to offend them before, which is odd because it wouldn’t offend me, but as I’ve mentioned before I don’t make a living pretending to hate white people.
The dozens of dead birds found in Texas, which had a precursor in Australia, are still unexplained though the prevailing theory in both cases is an as yet unidentified toxin. What this toxin, or how it was introduced, is still under investigation. There have not been any reported cases of humans being poisoned. Yet.
